Children’s sauna – Playfully relax, experience together.

thumbnail

The children’s sauna offers children and their companions a gentle, playful introduction to the world of the sauna. In a quiet atmosphere, the basics of sauna use are taught in a child-friendly way: Why do you use a towel? What does the sauna do for
our body? How do hourglasses work? The focus is on body awareness, self-awareness and mindful feeling – for example with questions such as: “How does my body feel after the sauna?”

Gentle alternating stimuli strengthen the immune system, promote relaxation and stress reduction. Nature sounds, simple breathing exercises, social interaction and the shared experience strengthen the parent-child connection and make the sauna a positive place of well-being.

FAQ’s – Frequently Asked Questions

2 large towels: one for sitting/lying in the sauna, one for drying off. Also: bathrobe and slippers. Practical extras: water bottle with water, headband, light T-shirt for the relaxation area (optional).

The use of the sauna is only allowed without swimwear. This is more hygienic and helps the body to sweat better. If you want, you can wrap yourself with a large towel or a sauna kilt.

Children do not need as long as adults, 5-7 minutes is quite sufficient. Important: If it gets too hot, please leave the sauna immediately and take a break.

Before: Shower thoroughly and dry off – this will help the body sweat better and keep the wooden benches clean. After: Cool down slowly, e.g. fresh air, cool water over arms/legs, then sit or lie relaxed. Drink enough (water, unsweetened tea, spritzer).

Children: 10–20 minutes break after each sauna session (drinking water, lying down, reading, painting, ). Children’s orientation: 1–2 sauna sessions are sufficient.

No. If you have a cough, cold, fever or feeling unwell, we ask you to stay at home until you feel fit again. In this way, you protect yourself and others.

During the infusion, water (sometimes with fragrance) is poured onto the hot stones. This makes it hotter and wetter for a short time – many find this pleasant. Children are allowed to join in if they are well and do not find the heat unpleasant. You can say goodbye quietly at any time and leave the sauna early.

Be quiet & be considerate: The sauna is a place of peace. In the cabins and relaxation rooms, please only whisper or be quiet. Do not reserve loungers: Please do not use towels on loungers as placeholders.

We look forward to seeing you!
