The holistic experience at the Keidel Therme
Ice bathing is much more than a brief cold stimulus: it is specifically combined with breathing techniques and visualization to consciously calm and control the body. In our courses, you will learn to control your breath, focus on the moment and mentally accept the cold.
In three different course formats, you will be professionally accompanied by our therapists and introduced to ice bathing.

The combination of breathwork and ice bathing trains the conscious handling of stress and one’s own mental strength. While the cold stimulus challenges the body, you learn to stay calm and focused through controlled breathing. This ability can be transferred to everyday life and helps to face challenges more calmly, more resiliently and with more inner peace.

Ice bathing can support regeneration after intensive training sessions. The cold stimulus promotes the recovery of the body and can help to feel efficient again more quickly. In combination with breathing techniques, the oxygen supply is also optimized and recovery is holistically supported.

Regular cold applications can activate the body’s natural defense mechanisms. Many users report a higher resistance and a strengthened immune system with regular practice.

The combination of breathwork and ice bathing activates the circulation, stimulates the metabolism and supports the body’s natural heat regulation (thermogenesis). At the same time, heart rate variability can be improved and stress-related cortisol levels can be positively influenced. This promotes the body’s ability to adapt to stress and strengthens general well-being. In addition, the skin is supplied with more blood and thus tightened in the long term.
“COLD and BREATHING combined make the BODY strong – a natural way to HEALING.”
