A low heart rate guarantees longer dives.
Those who learn to relax in the water can also transfer this knowledge to everyday life and other sports, such as scuba diving, swimming and other endurance sports.
In this 90-minute workshop, Nik explains the relaxation techniques, the breathing exercises and the mental techniques you need to hold your breath for a long time.
After a theory, breathing and relaxation sequence, we go into the water to awaken the body’s own relaxation mechanism – the diving reflex.
Meeting point: 7:20 p.m. in the bistro area just behind the main entrance. Start of the course: 7:30 p.m.
Duration approx. 90 minutes
Please bring your swimsuit, everything else will be provided.

“Because I could simply glide through the water on my back, it was a very gentle and relaxing stretch. Especially since it is no longer possible for me to lie on my back outside the water, massages are unfortunately no longer possible at all. Aqua Relax was a totally great solution!”
– Lara, 34th week of pregnancy

The training is based on classic Nordic walking. The difference is partly due to the additionally used Nordic Aqua Handles. These ensure optimized training of the arms, legs and hands through more and more intense movements in the water. Aqua Nordic Walking trains endurance and strength in a way that is gentle on the joints, but also all muscle groups of the human body as well as the cardiovascular system. A not insignificant side effect is fat burning, which is much higher than with exercises on land.

The desire to breathe for inner balance.
Discover the desire to breathe in the Keidel Therme – a unique relaxation course inspired by apnea diving. Combine breathing techniques, meditation & yoga in the warm thermal water for inner balance and more serenity.
Relaqua is a relaxation concept developed by trainer Nik Linder with its origins in freediving. In this extreme sport, experienced athletes dive in water depths of up to 130 meters with just one breath. In order to consume as little energy and oxygen as possible, the diver must be completely relaxed. To do this, the athletes use different techniques that lower the pulse and calm body and mind. The Atemlust course combines breathing techniques of apnea diving with elements of yoga, meditation and mindfulness. The aim is to learn mental skills, activate inner balance and thus meet the challenges of a demanding everyday life in a more balanced way.
For more information about Nik Linder and the concept, please visit:
These techniques are practiced on land and in the water. Meditative deep relaxation can be experienced most impressively in the body-warm thermal water. Floating in combination with the body’s own relaxation mechanism – the mammal diving reflex – provide an extraordinary experience.
